மாற்றுத் திறனாளிகள் மற்றும் மூத்த குடிமக்கள் வீட்டிலிருந்தே வாக்களிக்கலாம்!
மூத்த குடிமக்கள் மற்றும் மாற்றுத் திறனாளிகள் வீட்டில் இருந்தே வாக்களிக்கும் வசதி திரிபுரா சட்டப்பேரவைத் தேர்தலில் அறிமுகப்படுத்தப்படவுள்ளது.
திரிபுரா மாநிலத்தில் பிப்ரவரி 16-ஆம் தேதியும் நாகலாந்து மற்றும் மேகாலயா மாநிலங்களில் பிப்ரவரி 27-ஆம் தேதியும் சட்டப்பேரவைத் தேர்தலுக்கான வாக்குப்பதிவு நடைபெறவுள்ளது.
இந்நிலையில் செய்தியாளர்களை சந்தித்த திரிபுரா தேர்தல் ஆணையர் கூறியதாவது:
சட்டப்பேரவை தேர்தல் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள நிலையில், தேவையான துணை ராணுவ வீரர்கள் திரிபுரா வந்தடைந்துள்ளனர்.
இன்றுமுதல் இரவு ரோந்துப் பணிகளில் ராணுவ வீரர்கள் ஈடுபடவுள்ளனர்.
சட்டவிரோத பணப்புழக்கம், போதைப் பொருள் உள்ளிட்டவையை தடுக்க 14 குழுக்கள் அமைக்கப்பட்டு கண்காணிப்பு பணியில் ஈடுபடுத்தப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.
திரிபுரா தேர்தலில் 80 வயதுக்கு மேற்பட்ட மூத்த குடிமக்கள் மற்றும் மாற்றுத் திறனாளிகள் வீட்டில் இருந்தே வாக்களிக்கும் வசதி ஏற்படுத்தி தரப்படும் எனத் தெரிவித்தார்.
மேலும், திரிபுரா, மேகாலயா மற்றும் நாகலாந்து மாநிலங்களில் பதிவாகும் வாக்குகள் மார்ச் 2ஆம் தேதி எண்ணப்பட்டு முடிவுகள் அறிவிக்கப்படவுள்ளது.
Disabled and Senior Citizens can vote from home!
The facility of voting from home for senior citizens and differently abled will be introduced in the Tripura Assembly elections. Tripura will go to polls on February 16 and Nagaland and Meghalaya will go to the polls on February 27. In this case, the Tripura Election Commissioner, who met the media, said: As the Assembly elections have been announced, the necessary paramilitary personnel have arrived in Tripura.
Soldiers will be engaged in night patrolling from today. 14 teams have been formed and engaged in surveillance work to prevent illegal money flow, drugs etc.
He informed that senior citizens above 80 years of age and differently-abled persons will be given the facility to vote from home in Tripura elections. Also, the votes in Tripura, Meghalaya and Nagaland states will be counted on March 2 and the results will be announced.
