மருத்துவத்துக்கான நோபல் பரிசு; ஸ்வீடனை சேர்ந்த ஸ்வான்டே பாபோவுக்கு அறிவிப்பு
ஸ்டோக்ஹோம்: மருத்துவத்துக்கான நோபல் பரிசு இன்று (அக்.,03) அறிவிக்கப்பட்டது. இதில், ஸ்வீடன் நாட்டை சேர்ந்த விஞ்ஞானி ஸ்வான்டே பாபோவுக்கு நோபல் பரிசு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் மருத்துவம், இயற்பியல், வேதியியல், பொருளாதாரம், அமைதி, இலக்கியம் ஆகிய 6 துறைகளில் மகத்தான சாதனை படைத்தவர்களுக்கு உலகின் மிக உயரிய விருதாக கருதப்படும் நோபல் பரிசுகள் வழங்கி கவுரவிக்கப்படுகிறது.

'அழிந்துபோன ஹோமினின்களின் மரபணுக்கள் மற்றும் மனித பரிணாமம் பற்றிய அவரது கண்டுபிடிப்புகளுக்காக' இவருக்கு நோபல் பரிசு அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
