 சென்னையில் இன்று உலக மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் தின விழா நடைபெற்றது. இந்த விழாவில் முதல் அமைச்சர் மு.க.ஸ்டாலின் பங்கேற்றார். அப்போது அவர், மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகளுக்கு பல்வேறு நலத்திட்ட உதவிகளை வழங்கினார். அவர் 6 மாவட்டங்களுக்கு நடமாடும் மறுவாழ்வு சிகிச்சை வாகனங்களை தொடங்கி வைத்ததுடன், நான் முதல்வன் திட்டத்தின் கீழ் 100 மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகளுக்கு மடிக்கணிணிகளை வழங்கினார்.

 மேலும், வேலை வாய்ப்புடன் கூடிய மென்பொருள் திறன் பயிற்சியையும் முதல் அமைச்சர் திறந்து வைத்தார். பின்னர் அவர் சிறப்புரையாற்றினார். அப்போது அவர் பேசியதாவது:- மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகளை அனைவரும் மதிக்க வேண்டும். தனி கவனம் செலுத்த வேண்டும். 

மெரினாவில் மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் உரிமைக்காக உருவாக்கிய அந்த பாதை அன்பு பாதை. மெரினாவில் மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் அடைந்த மகிழ்ச்சியால் நானும் மகிழ்ந்தேன். மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் ஓய்வூதிய உதவித்தொகை ரூ.1000ல் இருந்து ரூ.1500ஆக உயர்த்தப்படுகிறது. மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகளுக்கான ஓய்வூதிய உயர்வுத் தொகை ஜனவரி 1ம் தேதி முதல் உயர்த்தி வழங்கப்படும். மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் வீட்டிலிருந்தே பணிபுரிய ஏதுவாக மடிக்கணினிகள் வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளன. இவ்வாறு அவர் கூறினார்.
